A furnished rental can make a work assignment, move or extended visit easier, but the word “furnished” does not tell you everything included. Compare the individual apartment and ask about the details that matter for your stay before committing.
Start with dates, guests and sleeping arrangements
Share your arrival date, departure date and total guest count. Check the number and size of beds, whether additional sleeping space is a sofa bed, and whether the apartment requires stairs. An apartment's bedroom count is not the same as its guest limit.
For example, the Altitude Loft is an upstairs, one-bedroom rental limited to one guest. Other apartments have different sleeping arrangements and occupancy limits. Check each listing before choosing.
Check the kitchen and laundry separately
Ask which appliances and cooking essentials are supplied. If you plan to cook most meals, confirm the items you use regularly instead of assuming every kitchen has the same equipment.
Laundry arrangements also vary. The listings for 724A Shawnee, 724B Shawnee and 724C Shawnee include an in-unit washer and dryer. Check the individual listing for other apartments.
Ask about the everyday details
- Which linens, towels and starter supplies are provided?
- Is there a workspace that suits your laptop or other equipment?
- Where can you park, and how many vehicles can the property accommodate?
- Are there stairs, outdoor-use restrictions or other access details to consider?
- What guest, pet, smoking and quiet-hours rules apply?
Compare the complete stay cost
Ascension Rentals' individual short-term apartments are listed at $90 per night before applicable fees and taxes. Ask for a quote for your exact dates, including any cleaning charge, taxes, deposit and payment terms. A monthly furnished stay needs its own quote; do not assume a nightly price includes a monthly discount or every service.
Review cancellation terms and the payment schedule before paying. Confirm availability directly; an inquiry by itself does not reserve an apartment.
